Chelsea - Champions League Complete Results: PSG Beat Juventus, Chelsea Knock, and Real Madrid Win

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) managed to beat Juventus 2-1 on the first matchday of the 2022/2023 Champions League at the Parc des Princes, Wednesday (7/9/2022) early morning WIB. In other matches, defending champions Real Madrid also won, while Chelsea unexpectedly fell at home.

As predicted, PSG’s match against Juventus was fierce between two tough teams. PSG appeared more aggressive at home, Juve had to admit defeat for playing badly in the first 45 minutes.

This time two PSG goals were bought by Kylian Mbappe in the first half (5′, 22′). Juventus then responded in the second half, a goal back through Weston McKennie (53′).

This victory marks a positive step for PSG in the 2022/202323 Champions League . Lionel Messi et al. lead the standings of Group H with three points.

The only goal for Dinamo Zagreb’s victory over Chelsea was scored by Mislav Orsic in the first half. The visitors failed to equalize in the rest of the match.

This result makes Dinamo Zagreb temporarily entitled to top Group E standings with 3 points, while Chelsea slumped at the bottom of the standings, while Salzburg drew against AC Milan.

Real Madrid Perfect Chelsea

Defending champions Real Madrid got off to a smooth start to the 2022/2023 Champions League. El Real successfully frustrate Celtic three goals without reply at Celtic Park.

All three of Real Madrid’s winning goals at home to Celtic were created in the second half, each through the action of Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric and Eden Hazard.
