Manchester – Erling Haaland made his name in the Champions League history books after scoring two goals for Manchester City when they beat Sevilla 4-0 on the first matchday of Group G of the 2022/2023 Champions League, Wednesday (7/9/2022) early morning WIB. . 

Erling Haaland made his debut in the Champions League with Man City in that match. He immediately showed his class. 

The Norwegian has scored two goals, one each in each half. The additional two goals confirmed his ferocity in the Champions League. 

Erling Haaland has now recorded 25 goals in the Champions League. The incision led him to set a new record.

The new Man City striker took over the record from the hands of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe reached 25 goals in the Champ ions League at the age of 22 years and 80 days. 

The old record was recorded by Mbappe in March 2021. About 1.5 years later, the record was transferred to Haaland.
